Site Supervisor
The EMS420 site supervisor is an intelligent unit which monitors the main elements of a cellular phone or rural exchange site.

The unit monitors incoming mains and provides starting signals for single or dual on site Gensets on mains failure.

It connects to a suite of EMS products and provides a common communication port via dial up modem or other media to a central monitoring site.

Features:
  • Monitors incoming mains quality and provides sophisticated AMF functionality.
  • Provides starting signals for single or dual redundant gensets on mains failure or on externally derived low battery signal.
  • Provides auto changeover to standby genset on failure or pending failure of the duty genset
  • Provides duty control for dual redundant gensets to even out run times and limit long running cycles.
  • Controls the common "A" contactor and "B" contactors for each genset.
  • Provides a disconnection signal for battery charging systems under conditions of mains out of specification
  • Provides an Aircon disable signal prior to Genset starting to prevent overloading of the Genset. This signal is maintained for a definable time to allow for Aircon decompression before restarting preventing genset overload
  • Provides a centralised communication portal which links together a series of related products giving remote access to the event and data logs of each of the connected modules using PowerView and dial up modems.
