EMS20 is one of many different communications interfaces used with EMS controllers. It provides a Fibre Optic inteface which can be used for direct connection to a Remote Unit or Mimic. The transmission distance is limited to 20 Meters and provides total galvanic isolation and high EMC and EMI immunity. The unit is housed in a DIN Rail module and connects to the controller by a short ribbon cable.
